Library and Educational Services LLC ~ REVIEW

I've never had a review feel as close to Christmas as this next one. Library and Educational Services LLC generously gave Kaden and I the choice of a book from their Who Was…” series, an audiobook from Lifehouse Theater, and $60 worth of books of our choosing from their Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction books.  This was my first time ever hearing about them and I was impressed with their selection and quality.  We love books in our house and one of Kaden's favorite series is the Who Was... series, so he was excited to add to his collection.

Library and Educational Services LLC provides a wide range of both fiction and non-fiction books.  There is something for everyone on your list from grades K-12, that offer high quality in-depth knowledge.  Along with amazing audio dramas and resource books that can help round out your home library.  I don't know about you, but our home library is very important to our family.  We are huge readers and we value quality because we plan to pass these down to many tiny hands in the future.  All that said, stocking a good library adds up over time, so whenever I hear about a sale or book auction I'm all ears.  But, what if you wanted those amazing prices all the time?  Library and Educational Service LLC has you covered.  They offer wholesale pricing from 30-70% off the publisher pricing!  I know.... calm down, I lost my breath too when I first read that. :)

One of Kaden's favorite series is the Who Was, What Was, and Where Is series, which explores famous people, places, and events throughout history.  He has many of them, but sometimes they are harder to find because stores carry popular ones.  Of course he would like all of them.  For this review we chose Who Is Bill Gates?  And he read this one first thing.  They are geared for ages up to 12.  But, I even enjoy them too, this is a collection we will continue to add to for years to come.

They also offer audiodramas and if you know us, you know we can't get in the car without a new audiodrama.  We had several to pick from and we chose Hiding in Plain Sight.  We thought it was amazing quality, the story was fantastic and at 70 minutes long we were able to finish it after only a few car rides.  The storytellers were outstanding and I would put this high on my list for best audio dramas.

The rest of our goodies came from their reinforced hardcover library binding nonfiction books section.  This I would say is their core area.  They have so many options for ages 3 and up.

The first set was the History's Greatest Warriors that featured Vikings, Gladiators, Samurai, Ninjas and Knights.  Kaden was floored, he loved them.  He said it was nice because the had just enough information.  Not too much to make you feel like you are doing school.

Ok, thank you Kaden....did he learn something though?  Yes, and it even sent him on little trails to learn more.  This set of 5 books is geared for grades 3-8 and a perfect addition to our home library.  We loved the mix of art, drawings, modern photos and the vocabulary.  Also included is further reading, glossary and websites for more information.

Then we were given the Uncovering American History - Primary Sources Set of 7.  I don't know where to even begin with this set.  It's amazing and packed full of the important bones behind some of the most memorable events in our History.  Geared towards grades 5-8, each book transports you back in time where you live the experience of the failures, setbacks, and triumphs of many notable figures from the past.  The images, important documents and accounts truly make this a unique reading experience.  Since we live in the Gold Rush area that was his first to read.  But, he was fascinated by the Erie Canal and the Alamo.  These hardback books are organized by short chapters and accompanied with all the extras in the back for further learning.

So, what did we think?  Library and Educational Services LLC
is a goldmine and extremely worth the time to head over and check them out.  Connect with them on social media and head over and see what other homeschooling families reviewed from them.  I can't wait to add even more to our book collection with them.
