How it is set up you basically can search for a key word, by grade or subject.  I used this with both Kaden and Mahala.  Mahala, even though she is older....almost 17.  She learns best when we can talk about what we are reading and research as we go.  Kaden, who is only 9 just wants the facts as fast as possible.  No reason to waste time yapping about anything with him.  He is strictly business....that being said I let him use this program differently then it was designed to be used.  It's designed as a slide show presentation for the Teacher to use for their purpose to teach the lesson to their students.  You will find even extra Teacher helps and additional info scattered throughout the lessons too.    This worked perfectly for Mahala.  We would print out any Student handouts and work through the lesson together, stopping for further investigation or discussion as we went along.  Kaden, sat at the table beside me and scrolled through the topics and began the lessons with me at his side.  Most of the time he didn't use the print outs and he answered the questions orally.

Both Kiddos enjoyed the material, how it was presented and the range of topics.  Mahala did say she would have liked maybe some spin off project ideas or like a "to-do next" section.  And Kaden said if he could add anything he thought some of the lessons would be nice to have a short video or audio clip of some sort.  Me, I just want there to be more...I don't want to ever run out of lessons....I loved it!!  I could be hands on and off and still be apart of my Kiddo's learning!  I learned a lot too, with Mahala about Confucius and even though it was a 6th grade lesson she loved it and we both learned a lot!  For her we focused a lot about the Cold War and revisited some scary English stuff along with some much needed High school English to learn how to write her way into College.  Kaden raked in the hours....he read about Plate Boundaries with High school Science, about an Energy Pyramid, how earth quakes happen and the Origin of Christianity and the teachings of Buddha.  And so many more things I could write, but I think you get the picture.
