The Crafty Classroom ~ REVIEW

The past few months we have been going over our cross country trip from last year.  We covered so many states, took so many pictures and journaled our whole 9 weeks.  Now we are digging a little deeper into our Nation's story by picking through each state we went through on our trip.  What's helped us on this little project is the USA Activity Bundle from The Crafty Classroom.

We received a digital download of 3 wonderful products they offer as their USA Activity Bundle.  The first one is the U.S.A. State Bird Art Cards.  This download offers beautifully rendered art work of each of the state birds.  Each page has the specific bird, they are so adorable and realistic looking that your kiddo can copy and color their own.  Along with the coloring portion there is a spot to add facts and characteristics they have learned and a memory matching card game they cut out.

The next book is the U.S.A. 50 State Mazes which has a nice big state outline filled in with a fun maze to work through.  This is a great hands on activity to add to your study because it's not complicated, but offers a little bit of a challenge.  Kaden wants to cut them out and hang them up on the wall when we are completely done with all of them.

The final book in the set is the U.S.A. State by State Activity Notebook.  This has a page for each of the 50 states.  Kaden's favorite was the little map on the top right where he would locate the current state and color it in.  Kaden found the state capitol, landmarks, abbreviation, state number, it's nickname, state flower, and bird.  Once again you will find beautiful clear pictures of the state flag, bird and flower for your kiddos to color along with a place to write out notes and facts you have learned.  Also you will get 2 games to play, USA Bingo and Roll Across America.  Just Print and Play!!!

What I really liked about this product was that I didn't have to go out and buy anything additionally to use it successfully.  I had plenty of resources around the house to find all the information I needed.  And it was easy to be inspired to look into further details when we wanted.  Like bird flight patterns, crops grown in certain states, population or local foods.  Another thing that I found helpful for not just my sanity, but also my printer...is that I only needed to print what I was using for the day.  That meant 3 pages on days we worked on this project. :)  No mess and less stress for this Mom is a blessing.

Here are a few of their other products you can get....

I would recommend this product for anyone looking to supplement there State History or American History.  Or if you are like us and went on a trip and want to add a little extra education.   It's fast, simple and easy to use along with what you have going on now with your homeschool.  Make sure you head over and Connect with The Crafty Classroom on Social Media!
