A Little Happy, Happy for Your Day!

The longer I live,
the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, than education,
than money, than circumstances, than failures,
than successes, than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company... a church... a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a
choice every day regarding the attitude
we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past...
we cannot change the fact that people
will act in a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me
and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you...
we are in charge of our attitudes.

The Proof is in the Pudding!

Have You heard that saying before?   I'm sure you have, we all have.  I said this to my Son today and my 13 year old asked me what it meant exactly.  I explained to her and she was like, what's Skylar's pudding going to prove?  I don't know....that's why the Cake will rise, the Froth will form, the Peaks will be beat!  Ok, maybe It's that time of the month and I'm overly dramatic and craving a ton of sweets.  But, You get the idea!!!

An Imagination with a Bunny

What a month!!!  It has been a month crammed with sickness, moving, unpacking, sickness, sessions, adjustments and did I say Sickness????  It's been ridiculous around here.  We are a Family that hand sanitizes like it's a Religion.  We wash before and after we eat, take our vitamins and eat healthy.  What went wrong?  It is what it is, but it definitely was not fun.  And as I finally see the sick curtain start to fall to the floor I'm so excited to be able to enjoy our new house and get it unpacked and ready for the Holidays.

Breathing is a Good Thing

I can breathe out of my nose today!!!  Yes, I am so excited about this that I feel I need to write about it!  The Family has been sick for over 2 weeks now & frankly I'm OVER IT!!!
You know the first few days your in denial about being sick and hold on to any hope that it could just be that your a hypochondriac. :p

New Classroom New Start!

Since we were moving we decided that it would be Better and more Sane for me to start Our New Year once we settled into Our New House.  Well, we have been here 2 weeks and we just can't wait anymore......so we started today Officially.

My Unhealthy Sin

Since changing our diet and choosing more Healthy Foods we have fallen in Love with Whole Foods.  We Follow a GF/Paleo lifestyle mostly.  So, once a week we head over to one of the many Whole Foods Stores in Our Area and Fuel Up & Fill up Our Pantry.
Usually it's Mahala & I because everyone else becomes a bowl of jelly as soon as they step into the building.  What's up with that????

Math Mammoth Review!

mm

Kaden is the only one in our house that just picks up any kind of Math and runs with it with no problems.  It can be costly trying to keep his Math Appetite suppressed.  We have Games, Packets, Flash Cards, Computer games, and multiple Math Programs going at the same time.
I was totally Interested to Review Mammoth Math...not only to try out a Math Program that was New to Us, but to be able to Review it with Kaden!!  :)
